Questions & Comments

Does the record itself have anything sketched into the dead wax? (the area of the vinyl around the label). Zep 3 album has quite a few different versions some with or without the spin wheel - yours obviously has that, and some with different sayings/quotes in the dead wax. It would say the catalog number and quotes such as "so mote be it" or "do what thou wilt"

PS- check out the Bob Dylan - Pat Garret & Billy the Kid soundtrack I just listed!!! It's a hard to find record too, there only a couple on eBay where I WAS gonna list it, BUT, BUT, BUT, you mentioned some upcoming HENDRICKS?????? I figured I MAY need the credits in the near future so I put it here LOL!!!! I just sold my Dylan Greatest Hit Vol. II for over 15,000 credits as I had 2 copys!!! I own about 15,000 LPs++ & 2000+ CDs, but I'm always buying more!!!

I have all of their stuff on factory cds, but good wax is better as it has higher treble & deeper base, but if you use the computer system to burn cds with, its like having a remastered digital copy, lot of work, but if you have the time & will, its worth it!

if I do happen to win this LP & it has the etching on it, we can work out a trade, I love the songs on this LP & would like a decent copy to burn to a disc through my computer system that takes out all the background noise before selling it! a good computer cleaning turntable can be bought for under $100. it the only way to fly & stay elevated! Have a great night ya'll!.....

some people [music nuts IE: audiophiles] say that some of the early run-off #s were more deeply recorded into the 'wax' and sound better/stronger and the guys who work at the factory etching the numbers would write cute saying on some of the 1rst pressing to their friends they were putting aside a copy for, they are more common then most of the record 'nuts' think...but whatever floats yer boat as they say!

The etchings really are the only difference. Certain ones are more sought after than others - and certain ones are more valuable than others. If you have the one that has so mote be it on one side and do what thou wilt on the other side, it is the most sought after version.

or everybody's favorite dead wax scratch...."WALLY"
it cost's $3.17 to mail an record via "media mail" at the post office, it comes with free internal PO tracking with a number # on your receipt to post with-in 7 days of the auctions close, or else some listonians will claim to not have recieved the record and beach up a storm to get the credits back, so save your reciept & post the #. Feel free to ask any other questions by contacting me through the message boards as I don't have time to read postings except when I'm bidding!
