1928 90% Silver Peace Dollar *Read*

I bought some junk silver (low grade stuff) a few weeks ago from a friend who inherited some coins and doesn't know anything about them. There are a few silver dollars like this one in the lot.
I cannot tell if it has an S mint mark or not because it is so worn down. This may be a 1928 S but I'm not sure. Look at the pictures, this is the coin you will receive. I included a picture of where the mint mark should be but even under magnification I cant tell. I even took it to a coin shop and they told me they couldn't see an S because it is so worn.
If it is a 1928 S it is still worth about $40.
If it is a 1928 then it is worth a lot more.

Anyways I am selling off this and some other silver dollars and silver halves in the near future to get some credits built up.

Nice coin, question have you taken it to a dealer? The wear pattern looks odd to me but it could just be me comparing lower grade silver dollars to the pics. Either way a good piece for any collection. F&W

Yes I took it to a dealer and they told me it was worn, I asked him if it was an S mint and he said he couldnt tell. I think it might be a 1928 but no matter how much I look at it I dont see an S.

this is not a graded (slabbed)coin by PCGS,ANACS or NGC, but in its condition its more in the MS-60-63 grade value, about $450.00 selling and buying is around $375.00.Hell if an 1877 Indian head penny came along in V.F.-35 maybe it may be worth $600.00.Lets try better date like a 1893-s Morgan dollar, who are you kidding 1928 is the icing on the cake,an lots of it top coin ,then the 1921 peace right after that. No one is ever going to see here,an 1795 capped bust dollar.
