The listing, 8.5 x 11 signed print Creepy Old Mental Hospital has ended.

This is a high quality photo I took of the Brattleboro Retreat in Brattleboro, Vermont. The hospital is old, opening in 1834, but it is still operating. It's a very creepy but prettybuilding. The words will not be on the copy I send you.

How interesting, my wife worked for a lady that worked at the Winnebago mental health institute a good 50 years ago (it was called a sanitarium then) and she gave us the set of skeleton keys that were used to lock up each of the wards, some of them are huge. :)

Those places were horrible way back! Insulin shock comas, ect, waaaay over medicating, the lead boots...! Really creepy stuff ... terrible stuff. I worked for a new facility and can safely say mental health is still a huge disappointment but significantly less life threatening! And I had a bundle of keys, too, but they weren't the creepy ones that go to the huge steel doors. Although, some of them went to restraints o_0
