Let me talk about my experience as a cancer survivor. Physically and mentally I have been to places you don't ever want to visit. I have stood at the edge and stared into a dark void. Yet I have Dignity Spirit and Courage. Since the year 2002, is when my illnesses started. I have colitis, lupus, and dead lunate bone in my wrist and now have no bones in my right wrist. I had skin cancers, fibromyalgia osteoporosis, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, and renal failure. In 2008, I heard the words I never wanted to hear, you have breast cancer. Life is what you make it. I am making mine a good one, filled with happiness, smiles and love. You are more than welcome to come and join me. This is a wonderful book from begining to end!! My mom has fought skin, breast , bladder cancer had her bladder removed. Has fibro, chrones, lipus, kidney disease, parkins and many others. Now hopes to inspire people all over the world!!

To whoever stops by and checks this out, I have this book and it is beautifully written by a wonderful woman. This seller's mother has recounted her story in such a spiritual and comforting way that it's not only a blessing for cancer sufferers or survivors to read but it's also for anybody just trying to face life's every day struggles with courage and willingness to just keep going. Lauren is an amazing author and an amazing woman with a lot of courage (and Tara's a great daughter/friend)

My sister was just told last week she has stage three cancer.Had surg.and is starting chemo and rad.please pray for her .name is laurie o'connor .thank you .

To not give up hope to have hope, love and courage. I will read a part of my moms book and tell her this Warriors who will fight with our Weapons, faith, hope and courage and our Ultimate Goal; we will Walk in Hope of finding a cure for this Evil Disease this is why Warriors wear Pink. This is why we are all survivors!! Pink Spread the Hope! FInd the Cure!!

yes the book is amazing my mom has gotten alot of letters from people she is inspiring and encouraging through her book and her helping people from daily challenge, fibro group, cancer support groups, she also helped people from commiting suicide and just needs support and hope. God bless u too!! This is a great book for anyone who is going through tough times and or going through illness or not its so inspirational and encouraging !! She has gotten alot of letters from people who she inspired from the book and just helping she also helps on the daily challenge, fibro group, cancer support groups, and many others. There is a breast cancer patient that is really have tough time dealing with it she needs to talk to my mom once a week. She helps her alot . She also helped people from commiting suicide. Also people who want to give up hope in life. My mom does free mentoring if anyone u know can benefit from this i can give u the number to contact. You can also like us on facebook we have one thats open group and one closed group its called Butterflies and Angels and she has daily inspirations on the pages. You and your mother are definately survivers. I just lost my 34 yr old daughter to type 1 diabetes and renal failure and a host of other maladies. A wonderful auction and the stories from watchers are inspiring. I am a cancer survivor and have many many health issues and my husband was diagnosed with cancer 6 weeks ago and we were told by his doctor that it is the most aggressive We take turns caring for one another he has seen in his forty years of practice. He is not a candidate for chem, radiation or surgery. His diagnosis came two days after we sold our home and bought another home. I would love to win this book or buy one. I would love to have the signed copy to give to him. He is working hard to get our home in order so I will have very little to be concerned about.

I have given away two signed copies of this book here on Listia and have given away many more unsigned copies. This is truly an amazing book and needs to be shared and read. I have survived breast cancer - ovarian uterine cancer and currently have fibrous tumors under the scalp that are cancerous. I also suffer from fibromyalgia/copd/congestive heart failure/diabetes caused by the medication to control the copd/kidney failure and suffer from amny bldder infections as well as depression that comes with any great illness. I got very depressed and was fortunate enough to get in touch with Lauren hrough Tara on one very dark week this year. I will always support this fine person and her books.

I hope my words can help, bring comfort and courage to those who are afflicted with this horrific disease. My father died at age 57 with bone cancer, it got to his bone marrow before they knew he had it. I was diagnosed with 4th stage breast cancer with lymphoma cancer at age 56. I went through 6 months of chemo every three weeks but on those days I spent eights a day in the treatment center. Then fice weeks after the end of chemo on Cinco De Mayo I had a modified radical mastectomy along with the removal of 15 lymph nodes. Three weeks after the surgery I had blood clots go to my lungs, I spent a week in the hospital for that. But I was classified as being FREE of the cancer. Then some stupid Dr. decided she needed to make some extra money and put me through 33 radiation treatments which gave me very severe 4th degree burns and prevented me from having reconstructive surgery. Not only that but the unnecessary radiation has caused me to have 4th stage bone cancer wrapped around my tailbone. I decided I had enough! I no longer wanted to live after this diagnosis because I had so much to live for and it was taken away again! I laid down on the bed and said"God do with me what you will, I am tired, just so very tired!" He answered back saying " You are not a cancer victim, you are a cancer patient, and you will be a cancer survivor! Therefore be a patient cancer survivor! He also said, "Peace, be still!" He was giving me peace and telling me to be still, he was taking care of me." I am at peace and no longer scared any more! May all of you who are afflicted with this horrible disease find peace for yourself in your own way. I know I have Mine! Thank you and God Bless! Judy
