Questions & Comments
How much is postage usually for these envelopes what kind of things do you mail in them? I'm new on listia and I've been sticking to lightweight small items that fit in envelopes but I'd like to broaden my horizons just afraid the cost is going to be to much to ship.
I will add some extra something for winner!! Its always nice to get a suprise!! also due to jealous noisy people, my original tracking numbers were deleted, they are free at the post office . Thank you :-) GOD BLESS
I have makeup and earrings listed on some other auctions too! i may just stick with that kind of stuff lol no one really argues over earrings and stuff. lol god bless all
For mailing prices, check USPS, give the address or zip code to where it is going and weight of the item and it will tell you the price to ship. You won't get a tracking number until you have the senders address.
Yeahh finally a post lady :-) ,ive had more contravercy over this auction! everyone has an openion, im not doing these kind anymore, this has been crazy lol thank you hun :-) god bless
I would stick with using the USPS website for your shipping fees and you will usually need the size of package and the weight as well as the zip even for the estimates and as stated above it will not issue a tracking number until you actually pay for that or the priority mail ( which automatically insures up to 50$ and gives you a tracking ) straight shipping will charge extra for both the tracking and that 50$ worth of shipping .. ( don't work for the post office but 15 years of ebay, listia, etcy, and another site got the rates down even when they change them... and simple items IF YOU HAVE a good working relationship with your local post office, can be tracked by the receipt but only a post clerk can do it or your local post master ... I have been insisting on tracking and I usually cover it if going east and passing through 2 of the big sort centers as have actually proven theft in one of the centers and charges were brought and have had two shipments go astray even with tracking and never arrived!!
and for really heavy smaller items use the flat rate boxes and lots of bubble for breakables.... cheaper then going by the weight.... just so you know.
