I don't know a whole lot about the origins of this necklace.
I saw it at the sale and fell in love with it. I have never seen a cameo, with the blue that is this vibrant.
I couldn't find any marking anywhere.
SO
I took it to my Jeweler and had him look at it.
He said the necklace was sterling silver overlay.
And that the cameo was lab created.
He was stunned with the condition. flawless.
He could give it a age saying at least 50yrs old.

As I said I fell in love with it.. However the necklace is to small for my neck.
I didn't want to break the set up so im listing it on Listia.
