According to the Haskell book, Carol Dauplaise joined Haskell in '59 and for over 20 years was one of the people who was in charge of the showroom. She was not on the design side at Haskell according to that book. She worked at Haskell as a bookkeeper and then started her own line (late 80s?). She sold jewelry lots of pearls and faux beads at department stores. Vintage Dauplaise is difficult to find. Here today is a lovely pair of vintage dangle earrings by Dauplaise, took me awhile to figure that name out, these are clips, they look like coiled ropes, there are 2 attached to each other, the clips have the earplugs in them & I would either clean them or replace them.
