Oh yes, safety before bidding. My nephew uses a mech mod and his first one short circuited on his first build. He was lucky it didn't mess up his hand. If you aren't experienced with mech mods, go to your local cape store and have them teach you about them and how to build a proper coil. An ohms reader is also a very important piece of equipment and is undoubtedly required.
