This auction is for a used but nicely maintained Canon TX SLR 35mm film camera with 50mm Canon FD f1.8 fast prime lens. The camera and lens are in beautiful mechanical and cosmetic conditon. The camera is very easy to use, and works great; the lens is in excellent shape too


Film compartment is clean, shutter fires at all speeds.

Glass has no scratches. Focus turns smoothly aperture is dry and snappy


This is a classic 35mm SLR from the days when Pentax, Nikon, Olympus and Canon made all-metal cameras that were built like tanks and built to last a lifetime - film photography instructors have used them for black and white photography classes for decades and still recommend them. They are durable workhorses, and a joy to shoot with. Film is still sold at many stores and most places still have developing labs.
