Questions & Comments

Just a heads up to everyone. In researching this tablet (hoping to bid soon) I learned that drivers are only good up to Windows 7. This tablet will not work with OS's later than Windows 7. With a quick addition to the kernel (recompile) you can have this working very smoothly on Linux.

Hi everyone - I was having the same issue, but I found a solution after a few hours. If you're having trouble using your Wacom CTE-630 (Sapphire) (aka. Graphire 3) with Windows 8:

- uninstall any other Wacom driver you have on your computer
- restart your computer
- download DRIVER 5.25-5A RC FOR WINDOWS 7, VISTA, AND XP from this link http://www.wacom.eu/index4.asp?pid=29&list=all&lang=en

Sure, basically it is a USB connected drawing/graphics tablet. The system consists of an eraser tipped drawing pen, a wireless, ball-less 2 buttoned scroll wheel mouse that is designed to be used ambidextrously, a Graphire drawing tablet and the bundled software. The Graphire pen is ergonomically shaped, has a programmable switch and has 512 sensitivity levels of pressure, giving it a flowing, natural feel. The Graphire mouse has a res of 1015 lpi and can be set for relative or absolute positioning. Hope that helps.........

I downloaded the driver update for 8.1. I'm running a W7 & 8.1 dual boot config so I'll give a test later tonite. Or maybe I should start running Linux? lol Ty for the heads up who8mypnuts & GL on your bid

I burned the file to a disc and will add it to the software bundle.
