The listing, ☑WWII COLLECTOR'S ITEM☑ has ended.
Recently, I found this packet of reports packed in my uncle's belongings, that were returned to my grandmother and grandfather, after my Uncle Charles D. Masden, was killed in action on, June 8, 1945, as he planted underwater demolition under the sea, to stop our enemies advancement.
The packet is binded, in it's original state. It is titled,
HISTORY
UDT ELEVEN
1944 - 1945
at the bottom right side, Nov 1945
bottom left side, pic of a Navy Seal,
in his bathing suit, goggles, breather,
a bomb ignitor in one hand and a stick of TNT, in the other hand, with the body seemingly to have fish features added to it.
I uploaded some pics above. A few I shined a flashight on, to get a brighter look at some of the pages. The paper is very old. It almost resembles the feel of todays construction paper, only this is 3-4×'s the thickness. The first and last pages are more lighter and more worn, at the edges, however the inner pages are darker and minimal to no wear on edges. There are no torn pages, at all. The first page does have a crease at the bottom and edges are curled a tad bit. This probably comes from being packed away for the last 71 years.
This booklet is packed with letters to Admirals and Navy Commanders, with step by step actions taken by Team 11 from start to finish, of their time, served, during this time of the war.
Only WWII collectors or Navy Seal History buffs would probably be interested in this. I am willing to let it go to a Listian who will share the history of my uncles missions during this war, with the world. You may be able to understand the goings on, inside this packet, as I can only imagine.
GOD BLESS, AMERICA....
