Description

The listing, Minolta mount lens has ended.

Minolta mount ZOOM lens.
80 - 200 mm f:4.0 MACRO / one touch
Originaly sold by SEARS.
Multi coated lens surface to reduce flare spots from light, sun , ect .
Macro close up as 18'' .
I bought this lens for my Sony camera , but found out the hard way that all Sony and Minolta lens do not always interchange , so I did not get to use this lens.
It appears to be a manual zoom , but I'm still an amature , so cannot truthfully know everything one needs to know about photography equipment .
I have no idea how well it works , but the reviews on it are incredible .

is this for a digital and can you tell me if it would fit on an Olympus digital camera? The size round of my lenses are 58mm, if that helps. Thanks. If you could give me more info to find it online than that would be good too. Fanned you and thanks.

I have no idea if it will fit Olympus .
It says on the original box , MINOLTA mount .
SLR (film) and DSLR (digital) lens interchange , from same manufactureer , but sometimes a model changes. , and the lens don't interchange .
SOME MINOLTA and SOME SONY will interchange , but not all .
I cannot possibly know all the different makes it will work on .
As stated in original description , it was sold by SEARS , for a MINOLTA camera .

All you need to make a Minolta Lens fit on other brand cameras is a 'ring' which is found at any reputable photo shop or here on-line. This 'mounting ring' is made in all kinds of different variants...Especially good for Nikon switch out. You buy this lil silver mounting ring, and it 'changes' the mounting capabilities from one lens type/camera model, to another lens type/camera model. Just bring YOUR camera in, along with THIS lens, to your local camera shop and they will match the lens to the correct ring for your camera in less than 10 minutes. Call your local photo/camera shop if you don't believe me! I bet you will be EXTREMELY SURPRIZED at what they CAN DO for you. IT WILL WORK. And the conversion ring is NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL! GOOD LUCK BIDDERS! DON'T LET THE BRAND NAME SCARE YOU AWAY! IT CAN AND IS DONE REGULARLY! Harley, this is exactly why I think every 'budding' photographer should start out 1st with a FULLY MANUAL 35mm CAMERA...because just like I DON'T KNOW, and NEED HELP with DIGITAL Photography....there are so many up and coming photographers out there that .truly could use a lesson in MANUAL PHOTOGRAPHY FIRST. How many of the young photographers today even would KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE FILM IN A CAMERA. FILM! That emulsiony filled stuff that we love dearly but can't seem to find ANYWHERE ANYMORE?! THAT STUFF! (Not yelling btw, I just forgot my cap locks on because I was chatting with a friend, and we both see the caps better. LOL. CRS...CSS. BOTH kick in even before 30!LOL. Best wishes my friend. Harley is a dear friend and TRUSTED FELLOW SELLER! I have won several of his auctions, and have NOT been disappointed....EVER! Love the last photograph of the Pelican on Dock, over-looking water.(AND THANK YOU FOR SIGNING IT! THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! TY!GOOD LUCK! Gwen.

I've never added an adapter ring to any camera , but they do work , and thats why there is a need for them , literally HUNDREDS of perfectly good lens available , and maybe your camera isn't one of them ?? try an adapter ....

Wow that's great to know, thanks for the lesson even if it was a bit huffy!! You have to start somewhere you know. I would love to take photography lessons on a manual 35mm camera and learn to process my own film, but don't think it will happen for me. But thanks anyway for the info.
God Bless,
CJ

I'm not quite sure who or what was " huffy "
The upper case letters are to emphasize a particular point of interest .
