I just have a question that I hope is not too stupid. If it is not genuine amethyst, does that mean it is lab created? I really do not know much about certain stones. Thanks and my ring is still gorgeous!

You are very welcome !! To answer your question , Genuine and Natural mean the same thing .The term "created" refers to the fact that a scientist took the components of that diamond or gemstone, and created a chemically identical counterpart in a lab setting. You also have man made , cultured , synthetic and simulated. You can Google these terms to help you better understand the difference =)
It's great to hear that your ring is still gorgeous and it will remain that way for many many years =) Some people do not realize you have to treat these as fine jewelry and do not expose them to harsh chemicals , hairsprays ans such. I always wipe mine off and store it away until I wear it again .... Thanks for stopping by !
