Idk it's an Avon product didn't look inside of it or observe anything like that.
It's already in the shipping envelope so I can't double check

Either way it's an authentic item so you can google it and maybe you'll get some more information :)

Ps I don't recall say it was "sterling/sterling silver" so that should give ya a hint I didn't really check out he item :)
