Is it a wind up watch or battery? I don't think it's an "antique"; It looks too new, and like others I have seen for sale on some sites...If it were old it would be either real gold or at least solid brass...I notice that the knob is a different shade of gold too... having said all that it's still quite pretty!

Thank you for your comment!! It is very much appreciated. I posted a pic (last pic) that looks like were you can open the watch to change a battery. I tried turning dial to see if it was wind up but did not work. I am assuming it is battery operated. I did not want to damage it trying to open it:(

This one doesn't seem that fragile. It came in a large vase full of watches that I purchased from goodwill. If it was that fragile I believe it would have been damaged when I received it:/

No clue what that second letter is. I couldn't figure it out. It's not an antique though. Of that I am sure. It's modeled after some that were made a long time ago.

My granddaddy had one that was real gold and wind up. My son has now it is over 100 years old. The face on this one looks much newer. My grand dad's was gold letters and hands. It looks like a nice watch but would think not antique but still great auction piece
