Infusion d’Iris fragrance from Prada was presented in 2007 as Eau de Parfum. The name of the fragrance is inspired by the traditional method of extracting iris fragrance that takes six months to complete. The lighter and more affordable version of the original was launched in 2010 in the form of Infusion d `Iris Eau de Toilette. In March 2012, the more intense, richer and more oriental edition comes out under the name of Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue.

When I did use it it does stay on for a long time, in other words you do not have to keep spraying more of it all day! It does not come on to strong at all but it lasts and you will definitely get comments on this lovely smelling fragrance. Prada is always a good product in every way possible and a very high-end product! Hope this helps:)

Hello again, I did describe the scent by the composition mixes notes as described above. I will see what else I can find. I just know it smells delicious like only Prada can make! I do not need duplicates of it this so that is why it is on auction here:) You cannot get better than Prada and this is very inexpensive for the retail price...

Like all the others in the Infusion series, Infusion d'Iris Absolue was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. It starts with a whisper of citrus and orange blossom (thankfully without the orange baby aspirin effect that annoyed me in Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger), but from the outset, it's a deeper, richer fragrance, with a heavier concentration of iris. The iris itself is slightly earthier and rootier, just the way I like it, and almost as buttery-smooth as Chanel's 28 La Pausa.1 It's also sweeter than the original Infusion, but it's not so sweet (or woody) as, say, Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Iris. It isn't as clean as the original, or as green, and while it isn't what I'd call heavy, it doesn't have that same transparent "veil of scent" feel that has characterized the whole Infusion series to date.
