The listing, Vintage Lefton Hand Painted Porcelain Purse Bank "Pin Money" 1950's~1960's Piggy Bank has ended.
Vintage Lefton Hand Painted Porcelain Purse Bank "Pin Money" 1950's~1960's This is a porcelain hand painted purse bank from the Lefton Company, I believe to be from the 1950's~1960's. Excellent condition without cracks, crazing. There is some paint loss in the gold part, other than that, I see no flaws It is about 5" long and 4" high

Hello again ...;) I'm glad to see you are doing so well on this one with bids !
Oh yeah very much so ! ️️Cool ' I've been learning a lot because of Listia and all of my fans and friends ;)! It is a great help to me ... I think God wants me to be here at least for a time as a stepping stone to a better life than what I've had ;) nice people like you are a blessing to me ! It's cool you had one too haha a coincidence maybe ... I don't think so .. I think meant to be that we share :)! Have a great day / night dear Lulu !
looks like it is missing a flower and 2 leaves right on the front (if you look up some others online you will see there should be three full flowers/leaves on the bottom row) and that middle top leaf is broken off (you can see where it should be and the little bit of piece left). nice piece but you may want to update and let bidders know it is actually damaged :/
Thanks for writing. I just hate it when I make a mistake in one of my listings. I added an update to this listing and, I let the high bidder know. If you hadn't of taken the time to write, it could cause me a lot of grief. My credibility is very important to me. I do see what you are talking about in the close ups. So, thanks. Lulu
no problem ^_^ it can be hard to detect flaws like that i know. it's still a very unique vintage piece. If you are worried about the high bidder being upset you could always ask listia to remove the listing (and relist with all info). i think it will get more bids regardless as you posted many clear pictures of it. best of luck either way, i would bid but it's out of my budget now, lol!
I did contact the highest bidder, I felt so badly about my error..she was really sweet about it, too. She doesn't mind the defects so I was relieved about that. I have cancelled a couple of auctions in the past when I have made an error. I just hate it when that happens.
Found out this is exactly the same one that my grandmother had on her dresser and passed down to my mother. Would love to have one for myself...fingers crossed!
