It isn't very thick at all. It's acrylic, but it's very lightweight and almost feels like cotton.

Can you do free shipping to Canada as well?

I looked on USPS.com and within the States it's about $3.40 plus $1.10 for tracking and to Canada it's about $9.55 plus however much tracking is (if they have it). There's no way I could provide free shipping. I'd be willing to take $5.00 for shipping instead of exact cost, but that's it. I apologize. :(
