Very nice auction! As of 9:16 am EST, spot silver pricing was 16.685 and ounce. Melt value would be 83.43 but retail would be higher :). Given the credits/ounce that silver has been getting on Listia you should expect this to end in the 300k+ range :)
I know I've put in some bids and will again!

please take this as constructive criticism instead of putting your auction down.

quick math.. listia lets you buy in at 1040... gift cards cash out at 2600... thus quickly yielding 1820 / $1 roughly... X 17$/oz.... = 31k or so credits /oz X 5 = 155k creds...

Gin at 500k is lets just say not even close to an "investment opportunity" :)

You also have to take into account what the market will bear...in the Listia marketplace the going rate for 1 oz of silver is in the neighborhood of 60k (much higher for single grams). While buying credits won't get you the return you'd like, "trading in" items of little value to you for credits might provide the opportunity for value....especially when you consider there are additional ways to earn free credits.
