Neighbors are ok. It just messed up their gutters. It will take awhile to get someone to come remove it though because the tree removal companies are swamped.

That is very good to hear! I know it can be a pain with insurance and the daily life disruption of repairs, but at least no one was hurt and it least it wasn't their roof or wall. And, I know, the tree companies are rolling dough right now! lol! It took 3 day for them to get a tree blocking a road that connects 2 towns in my area so you KNOW they are busy.

I just wanted everyone to know that there is a VERY GOOD possibility of my area losing power this weekend. Hurricane Irene will be in town Saturday - Sunday. So if I don't respond for a little while, that is the most likely cause. I will get back to everyone as soon as it possible. Thanks for understanding in advance!!

I am in a Hurricane Irene wreckage area as well. Stay dry and stay safe! Our power is flickering on and off as we speak. Great auction!

How are you doing? It was pretty awful here for a while. I lost power for a few hours and Verizon FiOS didn't report outages, but my router couldn't connect for over 24 hours (obviously, its running now lol!). We have trees down in some areas, branches down EVERYWHERE, and had ponding in the streets, but its pretty much back to normal here. How is your area doing? I heard the river is set to flood tonight...its your turn to be safe! :o) Are you near the Delaware or are you on the other side of the city?

Fanned you back! Luckily for us, we only lost power for a couple of hours (but the router wouldn't connect so I think Verizon had an issue) and there was just ponding of water and branches down here. I think the news made it a lot worse than it really was (in the Delaware Valley) because it was really bad in NC and VA areas. Thanks for checking in on me!! :o)

I'm a few towns over from the coast over by Rutgers New Brunswick. Literally all the towns around me lost power and had flooding, but my little complex actually kept power. Our backyard had 4ft of water though...I know because my hubby convinced me to go wading through it with him so we could see what kind of damage was around us. 8 doors down from us got a tree on their roof, but all in all we are safe and dry so I can't complain. Glad to hear you are ok!

OMG! I'm glad you were okay but WOW! We didn't have flooding like that even though we have a lake in our backyard! We would have if it weren't for the fact that the house sits about 20 feet above the water, but we have water everywhere so we were very lucky it was just ponding in the streets. Camden is about 5 miles from our house (Rutgers Camden) and they did flood about the same as your back yard. I feel so badly about your neighbors! Were they okay?
