Ok it works great for me I think it's called Susan Bates ergonomic handle or something like that I just call it my egg I have four of them on my main hooks lol so I don't have to change it so much
I have a page on Facebook Www.facebook.com/kimshandmades and yes I would sell a pair what do you think would be a fair price I can tell you it costs $4.50 to ship and tracking is $1.05 so consider this when thinking of a fair price I would need to.know in inches how long the foot is and then I can make them thanks for asking
Well then, there's a reason he's your ex isn't there? It angers me sometimes that people put down things like crochet or knitting as 'womens work' that has no value. Far from it, it is those of us that have these skills that once managed to keep the world clothed. I always joke that if there is ever a collapse of civilization, I will be much in demand because I know how to turn the wool from a sheep into clothing using nothing more than 2 sticks and a rock to spin the yarn and then knit it into clothing.
I'm going ot send you a message to your inbox...keep a look out for it in a bit!
Kim, I saw you say they're not that hard, just tying knots with thread. As a fellow crocheter and knitter, I'd like to point out something - learning the basics of crochet is easy, almost anyone can do it. Building your skills to the level you have on the other hand is something that takes time, skill and lots of practice that only a very small number of fiber crafters manage to achieve. Your crochet is your art, please don't undervalue it! I say this as someone who has designed and sold patterns professionally - I know exactly how much time and effort went into making those beautiful booties - I hope the bids go sky high!
Thank you very much for your compliment my ex always put it down like it was something bad I guess because I enjoyed it I don't know but anyway I appreciate the kind words
Ok thanks I can make pink blue or white now but i don't have purple thread because someone asked me about purple I will be getting some when I get paid but the flowers on toe I can only find in white just letting everyone know and thanks for liking my page and the great compliments
Why thank you I modified the pattern because they were floppy so I made two soles and put plastic canves in between them to stiffen the bottom and I think they came out great
I had a pattern for cowboy boots I'd have to dig it out but I can make just plain booties too someone just bought this pattern for me to make these for them and I thought I'd see how they done on here
Kim, I've been crocheting for 50 years now and I can still say you have a heck of a talent! Just stunning! I only tried thread crocheting a few times but with my tremors I found it too difficult and I stick with 3 or 4 ply worsted or sport yarn. I'm glad you're sharing your art!
I shake too in my right hand so I got me one of the egg shaped things at Wal-Mart they are blue and green and they open so you can put your hook in it and then you hold the egg and not the hook plus it's got rubber pieces you put on them so you can even use the little hooks and I bent the hook slightly to keep string from falling off
Why thank you very much you are very kind but I've been doing it so long that it kinda blows my mind when other people don't it's really not that hard just trying knots with a hook lol
