I tried that GIN approach on my very first time I was asked for one, set it at 99999 thinking it would not be taken, but someone jumped on it in less than an hour and then had buyer's remorse. Lesson learned.

I dont do buyers remorse, so I am not worried because I live by the listia codes and make sure that I always follow the rules then the buyers that have second thoughts end up loosing credits :) I learned after my first year to just not do it anymore because folks should think before they buy. I hate to sound mean but at some point I have to not be a softie :)

Gas here is 2.98$. I have always wanted to get Gas cards from listia but no one lists them anymore :( so I went and got 2 and put one up to see how it does

Yeah I haven't seen any for awhile the last one I saw the seller showed a pic of a $100 shell card and everybody went crazy bidding and didn't read the description there was only like $5 and some change actually on it and high bid was close to 100000 not sure if seller did that on purpose or what

That guy that tried to auction off the gift card showing $100 with only $5 on it was eventually shut down. I was one of those that got "suckered" and didn't read the comment section - he had the card amount and that was it - it was intentionally misleading - I was able to get my credits back and his auction got canceled by Listia for being misleading. Thanks Listia!

That's good he got ***** down, I said something to someone with a ring they labeled as Gold yet it is marked .925 last night... It irritates me that people try to mislead and it happens in the Jewlery all the time

Yeah - makes me mad too - a few bad apples... I like it when I find honest people on here to deal with and when I do, I make sure I make note of who they are and give them heads up on my auctions. I once mailed a guy a $10 starbucks card by accident instead of a $5 - he insisted on us doing a GIN for the other $5 so now, whenever I have a $5er going up, I email him first and let him know so he can jump on it if he wants it. That's the reward for being an honest person! What comes around goes around!
