The listing, VINTAGE WOVEN BRACELET with A ROW of SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES has ended.

I got this Interesting Bracelet in the 1960's @ A Hippie Shop in the "Village".

Back then, I lived in Connecticut & a Group of us Naughty, almost Hippie, Girls, would take the Train into NYC to shop, go to the Theatre, go to China Town & to basically kick up our heels in any way possible, far away from the structure & prying eyes, of our controlling Parents!! Lol!!

I remember the Shop I got it at very well~~ It had Peter, Paul & Mary on the Record Player ( this was way before CD's!!), incense was burning, & we were all wearing too much Patchouli Oil ~~It was a tiny space with racks of Peasant Blouses, long "Granny" Dresses, Beads made out of Watermelon seeds & a display case with Peace Sign jewelry of all types, Pipes, Incense, Rose colored Sun Glasses & a few of this type Bracelet. All of them were too big, except this one & the rest is History ;0)

I wore it out of that Shop & felt like a Boho, Hippie Princess !!

This Bracelet went to Woodstock !!!! & so did I !!!!!

It has been to San Francisco, the Carribean, & Mexico ~~~ & now it's time for it to be enjoyed & Loved by another adventurous Soul like I used to be back then ;0)

It is Hand-Crafted & made of Copper, Brass & Gold tone, metal, "braided" together. There is a row of small, bezel set, "Gems" along the front. They appear to be Coral, Garnet & Citrine?? There is much detail surrounding the Stones & ther are no markings of any sort for identification.

It's adjustable & bends easily. At this point, after it being Hither & Yon, it has a Fabulous Patina.
The new Owner may polish it if desired & I'll bet it will shine up well.

This is great.. I too use to take the train from Ct.(Milford). Not in the 60s but the late 70s. I would tell my parents that was at a friends house for the day. I now live in Florida and miss the crazy times in NYC. My kids are grown and I'm starting to travel, if I win this I will take it on many new adventures.. Fingers crossed. Lol

One of my Travels took me to Sabino Canyon, a Fabulous Park outside of Tuscon. Backpacked in & "lived" there w/my Beau for about a month, before coming back out to Civilization~~ Quite a trip & boy O boy, many tales associated w.that trip, indeed!!
