The listing, ANTIQUE BOHEMIAN MURANO ART GLASS has ended.

Rare gilded and ceramic hand painted Murano Bohemian Art Glass, this is short Vase, used to display forget me not flower bundles, lily of the valley or violets, very popular and often sold on the street by "flower girls" in bygone times. It is heavily gilded and hand painted with ceramic paint. A true Art Piece of a bygone Era. 3 1/4 inches tall.

One of the most well known maker's of this style glass was a company named Vimax located in Murano Italy, this style was extremely popular in Victorian times due to the ornate painting and gilding and was again revived in the 1950's and 60's, it is highly collectible and finding it without any loss of paint and gilding is becoming harder and harder.

It is gorgeous! What does it say on the bottom please? The Bohemian Art Glass producers and the Murano Art Glass producers are big rivals. It should be stamped on the bottom via engraving. Thank you and best of luck!

I am sorry, but you are misinformed, most Antique glass is not "stamped" or "engraved" since it is hand blown glass. I have a huge collection of this glass and not one piece has any engravings, a few have stickers (then glued on paper with the companies logo), however it is extremely rare to find a piece with those "stickers" intact.
