This listing is for a very cool Pewter Wizard Oil Lamp made by Les Hunter! I purchased this lamp it a while back (in the 1990's) but I never used it. It has been in storage but now this little wizard wants to find a new home. :-)

This is a little lamp:
- Approx. 3.5" tall with his hat on. (Without his hat, he is about 2.75" tall)
- Approx. 3.5" wide (measured at widest point: his outstretched arms)

This lamp is:
- Made of pewter and has been signed by the artist (on the wizard's back)
- Uses standard lamp oil (not included in this auction)
- Comes with some brief instructions on how to use it and safety. (Basically, you remove his hat and put the oil in the lamp carefully through the top of his head. Fill to just under the small hole in his back, wipe up any spilled oil, put his hat back on and light the wick in his hand. It will glow and looks like a ball of fire in his hand. So cool!

(Also, the instructions say the wick on this lamp should never need to be replaced. :-)


I have a few more of these lamps (different styles of dragons and wizards) and am trying this one out on Listia to see how well it goes. If this listing goes well I'll be posting more soon after this auction ends.

I will not be offering a GIN on this auction. (Again, I want to see how this goes).
