THE CLOSEST STORE TO ME IS 75 MILES AWAY. I CAN'T AFFORD THE DRIVE THERE AND THE COST OF BATTERY'S. THIS CAMERA IS MADE BY PANISONIC.

Are they battery's that can be used like reg battery's in other electronics? Like double AA or are they a battery made for camera only? A special battery made only for this camera? Thanks.

It is a battery used for the camera only. The battery can be purchased at Battery's plus for $38.00. It is like 2 fat ones joined together. Thank you! Fanned you also!

Kelly, Thanks for reply. I'm just wondering if I get the battery, then how was charging done? Was there a charger for it or was it charged from a USB cord to computer? And last. The battery you have for it, has it just worn out to charge or you just don't have a charger for it? I'm wondering cause I'd do the GIN now but I'm in a confused state on the system's charging method. Thanks again.

I was not given the charger but I have a USB cord for the computer I will include it also!! I also had forgot to add that the memory card is included...I did that just a bit ago! Thank you so much!

I'm still waiting on the answer about charging. Is that battery you have now rechargeable or just dead dead? And if it works, how did you charge it each time you used it? I just don't want to GIN it & find out its a camera that needs fixing or not working when i get it.

It works fine I gave a friend a personal loan and was given the camera the battery that was in it at the time belonged to her mothers camera, it had to be returned. I would not have taken the camera for the loan without know it was operational!! She had never paid me back and I had forgot I even had the camera till going threw my dresser where I had it. I hope that helps you, like I said I would include also a USB cord. Thank you!
