These games are amazing! The original Fable is actually the game that I leanred how to play xbox on. Before that my most advanced games system was a sega genisis and the games system I used most often was an NES.

I had a friend come over who always brought his xbox. I wasn't interested because the controls were so coplicated. Plus he always played war games like Halo and Call of Duty. It was okay to watch and all but I like fantasy rpg's like Zelda on NES and Beyond Atlantis on the PC. I just couldn't get into a game system like that.

Then one day I saw Fable in his pack of games. I put it in and spent days finding everything I could and doing all the missions. It was all the magic of Zelda only with so much more plot and control, and amazing graphics. When I could afford it I finally bought myself a xbox and the three Fable games were the first things I played on it. They will always hold a special place in my heart.

Without them I wouldn't have gotten into xbox games which are now my absolute favorites. The controls are easy once you are used to them and there are so many amazing rpg's like fable or my new favorite the Elder Scrolls games, Morrowwind, Oblivion and Skyrim. I've been playing Skyrim 10+ hours a day for the past 3 days and I'm maybe a quarter of the way through all the missions and dungeons that are available in it. I've played Zelda on NES so many times I can complete th entire game in like 8 hours. This was a huge step up.

Anyways, for whoever enjoys rpg's and wants to experience a world with lots of things to complete and enjoy, Fable 2 and 3 are great expansions on the original story.
