YES they can, a "crop-a-dile eyelet & snap punch" will easily punch these eyelets & snaps through fabric, leather, acrylic, wood, chipboard, paper even metal!

It's for using it with paper, this is not the "croc-a-dile" Just the normal eyelet tool

Ok last question sorry... do u know if these snaps/eyelets would work for cloth diapers? Ive only ever used plastic ones..

Yes these should work on them you just need to punch it through the fabric using this tool & a hammer would work but like I said b4 the croc-a-dile would easily punch it through fabric.
