The listing, Gorgeous Hand Painted Phoenix Czech Moravian Art Tea Cup and Saucer has ended.
This auction is for a beautiful tea cup and saucer set. It is 4" across the top and 2" deep. The saucer is 5 1/2" across.The bottom of the plate says "Hand Painted Moravian Art" and there are numbers stamped - one on plate "18" and two on the cup "60" and "72". There is also a stamp of a Czech Phoenix on each piece.
I have researched this pattern a little bit and found some similar pieces on eBay which were described as to be from the 1950's.
The set is in excellent condition. I don't see any chips or cracks. There is a paint chip on the handle that I have tried to show in the pictures. It is underneath on the inside of the handle so it isn't easy to see.
Items come from a smoke free home....we do have cats...they don't smoke either!
