The yucca plant is a hardy,
grows to about 18 to 20 inches.
They have beautiful,
white flowers that are atop straight stems with sword like leaves.
It takes anywhere from a month to a year for the seeds to germinate,
To get the seeds started, place them in a plastic container on top of a paper towel.
Put in about 1/4 inch of water on the bottom of the container and place in a very warm place.
As they drink in the water, IN SUN
the sun will add to the chemical reactions going on inside the plant causing it to grow.
The yucca plant will need to be kept indoors for at least 2 years.
During this time the plant will begin to grow larger.
Also during this time,
the roots will begin to grow deep into the pots that you have them in.
They do not like to be crowded,
although will adapt to whatever situation they are in.
The plant will have a much better chance of success if you keep the roots healthy and happy.
As the plant grows in the home you will need to keep transplanting it into bigger pots.
Find an area that gets plenty of sunlight, but some times of shade.
The soil must be a little sandy and loose and hold moisture well.
After about 2 to 2 1/2 years the plant will be hardy enough to plan outdoors in the garden.
Transplant the yucca in the spring after the frost has left the ground. Water it and mix in some fertilizer into the soil.NO REFUNDS!

I'm in midland tx, and the yucca's here are thriving! I have pulled them up with a tractor thinning them out, but they keep coming back. Very very hardy, and perfect for planting under your teenage daughters window!
