Dog Biscuit Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups water, or as needed
1/2 cup canola oil
2 eggs
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. Mix together whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, cornmeal and oats. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and gradually pour in water, oil, eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well.
3. On a flat surface use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Cut the dough into dog biscuit shapes using a cookie cutter. Place the biscuits onto the prepared cookie sheet.
4. Bake the cookies for 20 minutes. After the biscuits have cooked 20 minutes turn off the oven off but let the biscuits remain inside the oven for another 20 minutes to harden.

I thought they were adorable and since I don't have a pup I figured I'd offer them here for a dog owner :)

I will never ever buy processed dog treats and cheap dog food as my 1st Scottie dog died from cancer and what I can figure is just the horrible quality of food out there these days . If they put garbage in human food you can imagine the lack of real nutrition in the dog food! Watch the show "How it's made " dog food segment on you tube and you will be horrified! She died actually from the strangest diagnosis but essentially my ignorance and malnutrition. I stuck to the food the breeder told me to feed her. I caught it far too late and she was so ill she had to be put down at 4 years old : ( With my new Scottie I make all of her dog treats so I know there isn't any chemicals and garbage in them and make homemade dog food that has real meat and nutrition ! I scoured the internet for proper info for making dog food and my new dog looks like a beautiful healthy show dog! It saves so much money in the long run as you have a healthy animal and less Vet bills : )
I encourage anyone with a dog to get these and make your own healthy Doggie treats . I have a waffle iron type of treat maker and make mine with that .
Your dog will thank you LOL!

So sorry you lost your fur baby. You're right, it's definitely healthier for animals to eat homemade food, just like it is for humans.

LOL No, I'm Morgan. The nickname is sort of a joke, but it's stuck with me for years. My beauty is Ginger Kisses :)
