The listing, Vintage Collectible Florenza Nodding Turtle Pin Cushion has ended.

This is a vintage, antique nodding turtle pin cushion by Florenza. The pin cushion part has lost some of it's cushion, but it's adorable in nodding, and a hard to find collectible!

What is this made of? Wood, metal, plastic? It has great detail!

Thanks for checking it out! It's metal, but I'm not sure what kind, with velvet-like fabric for the cushion, and I've heard the eyes described as being swarovski crystals, art glass or rhinestones, so I'm not entirely sure! If you look up Florenza pin cushions on Google, you'll find a variety of animals and finishes, and they run around $30 and up depending on condition. I appreciate your interest!

Yeah, I don't collect turtles, but he was just so cute, I was going to hang on to him just because. Then I found out that people actually collect these Florenza pieces- I guess they made jewelry, trinket boxes and more, and thought someone else might appreciate him more than I can! Good luck!!
