I've seen a lot of these auctions where people list a bunch of stuff, none of them really looking all that enticing, (except for that Mickey Mantle card last week, wooooo that was nice), so I wanted to create a super-over-the-top listing, one rarely seen, and I want it to have value for collectors and resellers.

Here is what I came up with.

So, I packed this thing with antiques, gold jewelry, sterling silver jewelry, costume jewelry, practical accessories (for iPhone's), a smart phone (fully functional - Verizon), health and beauty items, a body armor vest (no plates), security items, vintage sellable goods, militaria, collectibles, and the list goes on. Speaking of list, below is a list of only a small percent of the stuff, since I only get 2,000 characters to describe the lot, so here are some highlights:

- Large group of Antique/Vintage Military buttons & Medals, including authentic Purple Heart

If the bidding exceeds 2,000,000, I've got a full set of restored Buffalo Nickels, fully restored, not just the date and it look bad, these took me a month to finish, and look very nice. It doesn't have the 3-Legged one, but all others. I'm in the 24hr window where I can't add pics or I would. "Like" this comment to the top so others can see!

@michelaghosn, that question required a lot of work, and if you're bidding on this based on melt value you're going to end up with a lot of extra stuff. These calculations are based on items that said "silver" or "Sterling" and some number with "xxK" for gold. I can't verify if any of it is real, but none of it appears to have come out of a gum ball machine.
Silver: (includes items that will be posted today), and also includes a ring with another jewel. 14.318oz.
10k - .674oz
1-20 12k -.723oz
14k - 1.781oz ( necklaces, but are odd colored, I'm not 100% sold, but they say 14K ITALY on them)
18k (watch) - .392oz

william dwight.... The italian 14k gold items or usually a more bright and yellowish gold. Looks almost like gold plated product but isnt. Italy has different ground cover and sediment that most other countries . The process in which this precious metal grows naturally, in Italy, and the chemical content of the ground it forms in is part of what offers such a richly yellow hue to the gold. Once its refined , the yellow becomes a very LOUD yellow and super shiny

These aren't super shiny though. They're old I guess and have faded some. They are the big chain type, which you can see in the pics. Beyond me why I didn't get a pic of them before my window to add pics closed.

Well, you don't warranty its solid gold, but I should mention: if all that is solid gold, it is over 3 oz, which even if it was all 10k would be over $1,300 in melt value alone. Not sure why you didn't mention this as part of the description. Your auction is worth over $1000 in gold alone! Bidders need to know that :)

Because I can't tell if it's genuine or not, and I'm not going to potentially hose somebody and myself if it isn't. I don't know jewelry, and 98% of the antique/jewelry items came from one estate, same as the Purple Heart and military, and makes no sense for this couple to have some of these things.
So, now that you asked for specifics, the best I can do is write down what it says on the jewelry/cutlery/coin (tonight's bonus along w others, weigh it, and move on.

Thanks for the info Stinger. I've always thought European gold looks more "rich"-now I know why. Of course they also have 18k gold that is more common in Europe than the US, so that also makes their jewelry look nicer :).

Oh and William Dwight, I know you're being sarcastic but it could also be a man complaining about the scale. It's not always a woman who is picky and a complainer. Just a friendly observation :)

Thanks! Unsure about cost to Canada. It's a fairly heavy lot = high shipping cost. I estimate it to be about 40lbs, coming from Columbia SC. You can get an estimate with that info on whatever shipping company you need.
