The listing, STUNNING AUSTRALIAN OPAL 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING SZ 7.5 has ended.

This beautiful Australian opal ring features an oval-cut flashy opal (about 3/4 carat in size) set into solid 9 karat gold. It is a size 7.5. It was a gift from my sis who bought it from the opal mines in Australia about 15 years ago. I have loved it, but my tastes have changed, so I am passing it along to a new owner who will love it as much as I did.

The opal is simply gorgeous with lots of fire and color to it. The ring has some wear, it is slightly out of round and has some surface scratches but overall is in great shape. It is stamped 9CT for 9 karat gold.

I LOVE THIS RING!!!! Just a suggestion... I don't know if you can add or change this ring's title since you have already received bids on it, wow! and so many bids at that. Anyway, since this is definitely a genuine Black Opal from Australia and Australia has the best opals in the world, you may want to add the words "BLACK OPAL" in the title because there are a lot of people on here that collect Black Australian Opals and might just type in their search field the words BLACK OPAL. is 9 kt com mon over there Im used to 10kt, 14 kt and 18 kt. so its not gold filled? I was soooo mad I was in surgery and missed your last auction that I wanted. If this is solid I wont miss this one!

Yes, it is solid gold:)). In the US the minimum standard for gold is 10k, but in many other countries the minimum standard is 9k. Hope that your surgery went well!
