Complete at 3-1/4 inches long shuttle with bobbin for tatting laces and other trims and doilies. Boye Improved from Chicago and Pat April 1923 holds more thread with less knots. It may work but depends on the thread size. The bobbin can hold a heavier thread, altho this thread in out its a heavy cotton. You can change it. Google this type of shuttle, maybe you can get more info for your purposes.
