I completely understand. I was under the impression that as the seller you just had to ship it within 7 days of the auctions end. I am not sure how, you as the shipper, would have any control over the amount of time a package takes to actually arrive at the destination. I am truly sorry to hear that you are leaving the community because of some dirt bag scammers. Some people can be spineless in every sense of the word. They will get theirs I am sure of it. Until then, I hope you do well in any other ventures you decide to replace Listia with. The scammers and cheats will be the only ones left on this site. Sad to say, but without more protection to loyal members it's only a matter of time.

Thank you for understanding! My husband suggested to do free shipping to Canada and no shipping to US or exact shipping. He knows how much listia means to me. I sometime wakeup to check my auctions and answers to them. I am staying home with my kids our oldest has Autism which requires me to stay home so listia is like a part time hobby/job.
Today I got awesome parcels that made me reconsider. Most the items I received are donated to charities. This year we are stuffing purses for our local Canadian Breast Cancer society and care package for Women's shelter. I exceeded my goals so we are getting supplies for the Men's shelter and the Senior Center. I could go to the store and purchase everything. .. But I wouldn't feel that I am also contributing in exchanges.

I had issues with a winner who claimed she didn't received her parcel which was sent twice. Second time (when a parcel is return their is pick up fees ) she choose to wait tto getit back a week after our agreement she ask for refund without contacting me. Less than 10 minutes after sending refund request which i refused with having pictures and tracking provided and sent to her Facebook account... she cancelled request saying that she got it. She sent me a positive feedback she received extras jewellery anda 12050 credits auction cost me a totalof $33 for shipping and 3 extras piece of jewellery
All my auctions stipulates that shipping takes 30+ bussiness days.
Regular parcels small packet is $8.52 and with tracking is $16.65. She says that listia gives 7 days for item to get to destination that she should get refund for waiting 30 days in fact she only waited 17 bussiness days. Her parcel was sent and return in meantime
To make a long story short customs keeps parcels about 10 daysevery parcel sent ffrom Canadato US and from US to Canada gets through sort facility. IIt'soputof my control on top of our mailing system going through changes and Forrest Fires causing town evacuations.
I also got negative comment from someone who never communicated with me saying he never receive his item and kept bidding and asked for return to kkeep credit and item.
I hope this helps fellow American listian to understand that if they want cool findings from Poor Canadian members to wait. We get little credits for a lot of trouble

The Moderators told me that every members have 7 days to ship item and it's OK for mail to take up to a month as long as sellers specifies it in listing.
