This item is made of genuine amber, a stone which releases oils that when absorbed reduce teething pains in infants and toddlers.

This particular necklace is made with multi-colored amber beads. Knots are tied between each bead, and the necklace is latched by a screw-in bead in the back to ensure durability.

The item should not to be worn while a child is bathing or sleeping.

I actually got this as a gift a few years ago for my daughter. The box did come with a certificate staying it was genuine amber. I threw the certificate away because I did not think I would need it again. My daughter is autistic and really hated wearing this necklace due to her sensory issues. I put it on her once and put it away and forgot about it. I'm sorry.
