4 Crystal Salts with Crystal spoons in shell shapes in excellent cond. still in orig. box, very old. probably made in the late 20s or early 30s. The spoons have a distinct deco look which dates them after 1925 and before 1939 when the war in Europe started. The spoons have a shell shade, this collection is unique and special.

I agree. This would sell for over $100 in an antique store, even if it is POSSIBLY a few years younger than an antique. Its a STUNNING SET! My husband and I love antiques, and looking online at them is how he unwinds after work. We landed an 1851 square Baby Grad Piano in amazing condition for $500 last year! It's the centerpiece of our Great Room. Wish I could post its picture. =)

SUEPOWELL, I have no idea where Quiver got the idea that your starting bid equates to over $100. I checked to see how many credits you could buy for $100 & it was over 340,000 credits so that would mean that your starting bid was way less than $100 which is entirely reasonable for your set. It's complete, in the original Box and I can't remember
The last time I saw a complete set w/marching spoons.
In other words, you are right on the money or maybe undervalued on
Your set. Keep your chin up

Is there any way you can post a photo of the box itself, before end of auction? I know it may be cutting it close if you do, but the box itself would be a HUGE help to watchers, and your potential bidders. Original packaging, when available, can be key when determining accurate dating and pricing of items. Especially true when viewing in photos only, and no label is visible. Thank you for offering such a lovely item. I am a lover and collector of vintage glassware and although my collections have gained me many beautiful things to use for serving and for setting a table for up to 12 people, it has also gained me less and less space to store and display it..lol. So now I bring home less things, but when I do, it's the rare or unique, highest quality items I've found. These might be JUST that kind of thing I would happily snatch up without hesitation! So, if it's at all possible, can you post a photo showing as much of the outside of the box as possible (top, sides, etc.) that has any print or pictures please. It would be very helpful to all. Thank you!!
