The pouch measures 6.5" tall, 3.5" wide, and 1.25" deep. It's made of a very lightweight nylon material that is not padded, but has a soft felt like interior.

The packaging is mis-labeled on the back, saying that the case is made of leather and has pockets; neither are true (just some disclosure in case you are giving it as a gift).

The case / pouch can be used for just about anything you like; from a small cosmetics pouch, to a case for carrying all of your smartphone and tablet accessories (chargers, battery backups, sync cables, TV connector cables, etc.).
