This auction is for a Chinese Crystal ball(?) or snuff bottle (?) painted on the inside . It's about 2 1/2" or so inches across , and roughly 7 1/4 around the circumference. It does appear to be real rock crystal as I don't see any bubbles inside.There are 8 little orange and yellow butterflies and what look to be Peonies(5 Flowers) painted inside , along with Chinese writing.How they do this painting is a mystery to me! But it is quite amazing!! And beautiful! It doesn't have a stand , but I think a 1/2" or 1/4" dowel would work well and it can be mounted onto wood . Or just leave it as is , it can stand on it's own (where the hole is -in the last two pics , you can see the inside view. ) And just leave it in a window or exhibition case, or however you want to present it.There are lots of egg stands and Crystal ball stands you can find online for under $5 that will work and look great! Or your local Hobby store might have them , also. It's a beautiful piece for a gift or just for yourself a real conversation piece!!
