I'm actually reading this after my doctor put me on Metformin and Lipitor, she diagnosed me as diabetic according to her A1C test:

I'm sorry to hear that...I've spent the last 2 months getting off all of my prescriptions which were killing me and preventing me from losing weight. I've read or am reading half a dozen books, right now, by Dr. Sherry A. Rogers...she is a former doctor that exposes pharmaceuticals and their deadly side effects...doctors as drug pushers, etc...she has a book on arthritis (I don't have this one) that you might look into getting and reading...I'm telling you, I'm riddles with auto-immune, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, insulin resistance and degenerative arthritis....getting off (slowly weaning) of all those meds has been the best thing I've ever done and have lost 10lbs. without even trying...hang in there, Crystal...much love and health to you.
