Description
The listing, Brother Backster LX-570 Multi-Finisher Laminator + 3 Extra Cartridges! Like new has ended.
This laminating machine is so easy to use. One of the best I've ever seen. One of the things that I like the best is that it requires no electricity to run. Just put the item in and roll it through! Comes with three extra cartridges
This unit is barely used and in excellent condition.
Questions & Comments
So let me understand this - does it run off batteries to heat it up or does it not heat ? Does it laminate full size pages ? Yes I am VERY interested.
I gathered that by the picture ... just never heard of a laminating machine that doesn't hit up because they typically work off the heat melting the top and bottom sheet together with something in between. Thank you for the response!
Hi, it won't laminate full pages of paper, if that's what you mean. It is mainly for card/I D size and a bit larger. I tried it out on a couple of cards of mine and it works pretty slick. It won't ruin the card..it doesn't fuse to the paper. The paper cartridges fuse to each other. I suppose I could look around and find a u tube video about it. There seems to be a video on everything these days.
am i missing something on the brother page but can you still purchase the laminating cartridge ? and what is the largest size page you can feed through it to laminate?
I tried to see how much they are on the brother site and they don't list the cartridges at all. And naturally their online chat support is not available at this time for me to ask ....
that may mean they are being phased out and one might not be able to get them in the store .... I figured the amazon and ebay best price just was trying to see what the brother website said about it was all.
could be--everything is eventually phased out so the best resources are online when that happens. Kind of like the Gameboy--they phased it out and you can only get games and accessories online now. I guess its a way to get more of our money..lol
I am interested regardless just asking questions before bidding ... I thought it was the card one. I think I have used this model at a job before to print ids.
You get everything in the pictures, the rolls are full-sized except for the used one in the machine. The rolls have their own cartridges, so they just pop in. You don't need anything else. No manual but you really don't need one. Instructiins are on the boxes. If you need more help you can probably pull up a tubule video.
