@Brian the square is an app to put it in sleep mode because the power button doesn't work. He said that in the description. :)

I don't know what GSM is but I been using it with my tmobile SIM card but when you pop my SIM card out it say Verizon in setting, so yes I guess it is GSM unlock

New pictures shows me using it with my tmobile sim card but if you look at the picture with settings it say verizon, so it's unlocked
