I hear ya about venting !!!! I've been losing out lately myself so I started putting GIN instead of bidding cuz I'm losing money :-( I don't think Listia should be taking a cut of our credits either!! Listia is hard to figure, anymore, they keep changing the exchange rate for credits, and the cuts they take are beginning to remind me a lot of eBay, which I came here to escape, lol! I list things that I think will blow people away, and get bids that wouldn't half pay for them even if it WAS $, and then I list some little Item I've had laying around for years, and the crowd goes wild, bidding in the 200,000's! Just does not compute! I think one of my logic circuits blew or something! I don't know if I've lost the pulsebeat of Listia, or if everyone else is as confused as I am! AND YOU EVEN OFFER FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING...I BOW DOWN! Wtf happened to Listia? It use to be soo much fun and the people on here were soo nice and helpful...also it use to be about stuff you had around your house or if you were feeling generous you'd buy 2 of the items you liked and put one up and now everywhere I turn its like a stupid eBay or something and people are REALLY, REALLY RUDE AND MEAN! I asked this seller a question and Bc I'm a straight forward person, I'm automatically labeled a b**ch or "I didn't ask the question nice?" How the heck are you suppose to ASK A QUESTION NICE? It's a question?!? And it used to be about community and sharing the wealth and now it's all "see how many bids a person can get AND then also charging the amount of the item for shipping!!! That's ridiculous... Your dragon is beautiful and worth well over 100,000 bids but instead $5 gift cards to Amazon are going for 125,000 or more!!! Wtf! If I had it, I'd give it to you for this wonderful piece...if I were you, I'd just pull the auction if you're not at the bid points you need.... People do it all the time and at least you'll have the right reason for it. I'm going to fan you and if you delete your profile, I totally understand! Fanned and watching! There are alot of meanies, and some real dip doodles on here. I average at least 1 question in the comments that was clearly answered in my description or visible in the pics per auction...I find that annoying, but I dont get mean over it unless I feel it was intentional, then I just silently block them. I can say that I have had more encounters with nicer folks than mean or rude ones...I've had a scammer or two try but fail to get over on me..both a seller and a winner of an auction. The worst are the ones that straight up dont communicate at all...ignore anything you write them, and dont bother leaving feedback...nothin! I block those people...I block people who have had an item for 2 days and dont either write me or click got it...and my personal favorite...the ones that like to tell the world the price of an item you listed in the comments like your trying to be deceitful or something...I google stuff I'm curious about...anybody can...I encourage it! Why not? I list only items that have 4 out of five star reviews from other buyers...so go ahead...You will probably only want the item more after researching it anyway...I block those jerks too, but not before telling them exactly how I feel about that by listing the price of every item they have listed in their comments ...

I also see children on here which hurts as they win some and do not follow through or they ask for you to give the item to them because their parents wont let them buy it from the store. One person was getting married & could not afford a ring nor 4 dollars shipping ( I offered to help and give a ring if they could pay shipping ), I had real diamonds and gems I sold cheap and see some fake jewelry selling sky high. I now seldom sell ( also on fixed income as I am disabled ) my expensive items . I do understand what you are saying all to well.

I gotcha! I auctioned off a juicer. It went for only a few hundred credits and cost me $35 to ship.... parcel post. Somebody got a real deal. But that was in the early days. I've learned my lesson. To get rid of stuff that weighs over a pound or two, I go to craigslist, whether selling for offering it for free. As you can see from my profile, I've been around for quite awhile. I took a year off, no auctions. My life was just too busy and I couldn't afford to offer free shipping. When it feelings like you're not having fun..... I think it's time to step away, at least for a bit, to get some perspective. If you need the space, take it. The site should be fun, a place to get rid of stuff you don't need and get stuff you want.... right? Not a place to make a few bucks or to feel like you've been mugged. That's not fun........ at least, not for most normal folk. All the best on this auction.... and on your decison regarding Listia membership. Be well.

I understand about the shipping and usually only put small stuff up. I have never charged for shipping but will if I put up something that will cost a lot to ship. I love this dragon OMG. If I didn't live in such a small place I would certainly bid on this. I will be watching this auction though and I have fanned you as well. That is AWESOME about you putting the pricing on their auction sites!! Hilarious! The only problem is that the seller can just erase the message. The sad thing is Listia doesn't do anything about those really rude people or the scammers....I think a BIG part of why Listia is going down the drain, is bc of those kind of people on here. Just today, I reported that really mean and rude lady to Listia and submitted a request about her and didn't get sh*t back! Not that I'm surprised about that but still, I think they should be doing SOMETHING about those people! But I have met a few genuine people on here which is refreshing but I had to change my profile picture bc too many dudes were messaging me to hit on me! Ridiculous!! I have lost hundreds if nbot thousands of dolars on here! People pay 1600 credits, well that is 5 bucks! That doesn't cover shipping let alone listing, our time, etc!!! I travel to Brazil to mine agates and were talking 6-10 inch ones and I pay for my flight, to bring them back, I do all the lapidary, and no one appreciates a thing, they just want more!

tell me about it! I had a $200 watch go for 60,000 credits...new...brand spankin new! I have had $10-$15 items go for hundreds of thousands of credits, and expensive stuff leave me cryin in my soup...I like dealing with experienced listians...not the newbie dummies that dont even stop to wonder what the economy is like on here....it does matter! I know I complain, but I rely on stuff ending at a decent amount of credits....When I started, I ransacked my house finding stuff to list for peanuts, then I listed a tablet one day that was given to me....took those credits, won an amazon giftcard, bought 2 new in the box tablets and from there I have worked my way up to just using my credits to win giftcards and those to buy the stuff I list.....I do well! I just bought my daughter a brand new trumpet for band (her first year) compliments of my listia hustle...didnt cost me a dime. The only real cost to me is shipping...but I'm working out a plan there too! I'm a prime member on amazon, so I get free 2 day shipping...therefore I'm planning on offering free shipping on all my listings...and then just shipping straight from amazon to the winner....they get free shipping, and get their item in 2 days, and I get to offer free shipping....which helps the listing bid out higher without a doubt, all the while I only profit, and listia doesnt cost me a dime...literally.....I'm a hustler eh? I'm a very honest seller....but I have hustle no doubt! My only concern with that is...I will have to keep 1 of anything I sell at my house just in case the auction ends and the item has sold out on amazon...I will have an extra one in my posession to send to the winner if the situation arises.....

You have some cool auctions and I hate to see you delete your account. I totally get your frustration as I've gone through my fair share of it as well. Been a Listian member since April of 2014 and came across this site by accident. Prior to that, I was an Ebay Powerseller since 1999. Sadly, business is not like it used to be back when I first started. So, whatever I don't sell, I get rid of it on here. I have sold every single item on here with various amounts of credits.

Well, I used to be an avid dragon collector, but I outgrew them. Weird how time can change our persona over the years. Suggestion, why not just list only a couple of items a week and just grow your balance? That's what I've been doing and if I see something I like, I know I can get it without someone trying to outbid me. I've done a lot of Christmas shopping already on here and have saved myself thousands of dollars easily. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck! Who knows, maybe I'll see something you have one day and just get it! :) Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

i have quite a few million credits lol! The way I do it on here is list stuff that goes for bookoo credits...i take a portion of my credits, buy giftcards, then use those to buy the stuff I list....I'm fixing to start just having stuff I list ship 2 day priority to the winner....so I'm not spending a dime one out of my pocket...still offer free shipping, and list higher bidding items....I started out ransacking my house for stuff to list! One day a friend gave me a new tablet he got free off of ebay to list...and it bid so high that i bought 2 new tablets with the giftcard I won with the credits....skip ahead and everything I have listed is where I'm at now doing things in that way....if I have an auction end under 100k....it's because I listed a lower bidding item to attract more people to my auctions. Thats the only reason I will list cheaper items....to pull more followers in! I always ship fast, and I communicate well, so I do very well....I'm just a grouch when someone doesnt click got it....after all...I list nice stuff, I cover all of it, and I dont just forget about people once The items are shipped....I ask my winners for reviews after they have had an item for a week or so...especially if it is an electronic...I get a bad review and I wont list that item again....so far 100% positive reviews....it helps that i wont even consider listing an item that has anything less than a 4 out of 5 star review from other buyers....

they have these on amazon, and honestly you'd come out cheaper buying it directly off of there. I only added a high= gin to avoid an inbox full of terribly low gin offers! I'd rather it bid out...if it does go with GIN, then the winner seriously wants it terribly bad! It is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the pics...I am very impressed with this piece...My mother is getting one for christmas...since she loves collecting these...I shop alot, and ones that cost twice this ones price don't compare to the detail and beauty of this one....Some jerks are trying to sell this one for $175 on some sites! blows my mind how bad some people online try to rip unsuspecting buyers off!

Beautiful dragon Hun and yes I hear you about the charges to credits thing on here when I first started it was fun and interesting. Getting something for nothing was awesome especially giving to someone else. But then the shipping came around. At times I didn't mind a few bucks here and there until it started costing me more. If I can I usually do the free shipping but mostly now I charge at least half of the flat rate charge. I honestly hope you don't go anywhere as I just found you and love dragons. Here is to hoping you'll stay and we become friends. Fanned you also and definitely watching. :)
