#1318- Authentic 1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar-Rare & Collectable
There were several variations of the Capped Bust Half Dollar coin during this era. For that matter- the 1834 had 4 different variations. For your information the variations are based on date and lettering-both being large, large date and small lettering, small date and large lettering and stars, and finally small date and small letters.
Interesting fact about this particular coin is the die wear of "Pluri" in E Pluribus Unum. Note some toning on the obverse side of coin near edging below the date, and that the "A" is slightly higher than the M in America on the reverse of the coin. The coin is 90% silver and 10% copper.
You be the judge when placing your bids on which versions you think this coin might be. For details on depicting value of coins like this- You can go to coinvalueshelp.com.
