Sharon since I am very experienced in computers, I felt the need to answer your question. Unfortunately, you most likely will not be able to backup your hard drive space because although 32gb is a lot space. Your hard drive will exceed that by far, leaving you with a loss of data (pictures, videos, documents, and basically everything else on your hard drive.) If you'd like to back up your hard drive, then what you want is an external hard drive. There may be some on here, or maybe amazon would give you a better deal on one.

Hi sharon, Sorry, I took so long to answer...
I do not know the answer for sure but I would think the answer would be yes because there is alot of storage space on it (32GB) however, I'm not even close to being knowledgeable in computers... I will try to GOOGLE it for you and get an answer.
ANYONE WATCHING this auction that knows the answer are more than welcome to comment on this auction!

I thought that you could - seems logical and I asked "GOOGLE" I found several answers that all said YES YOU CAN use it to backup your hard drive.
