The listing, CHRISTMAS GIFTABLE: Black Hills Gold & Silver Onyx Chevron Ring - 10k, 12k, .925 ~ gorgeous-size 6.5 has ended.

Alas, I must give up this absolutely exquisite ring. I wear a 7 and it is far too difficult to remove from my finger. I will have to bid a sad goodbye to it.

History of Black Hills Gold & Silver ~

Black Hills gold jewelry is a type of jewelry manufactured in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was first created in the 1870s during the Black Hills Gold Rush by a French goldsmith named Henri LeBeau, who is said to have dreamed about the design after passing out from thirst and starvation.

Black Hills gold jewelry depicts leaves, grape clusters and vines, and is made with alloys of gold with standard 10k (stronger than 14k) yellow gold as well as 12k green and pink gold. The designs use grapes, grape leaves and grape stems and are easily recognizable for their distinctive colors. Silver is alloyed with the yellow gold to produce the green hue, and copper is alloyed with the yellow gold to make the red or pink gold.

This Ring ~

This striking, breathtaking ring is best described by viewing the photos. The green and gold leaves are well defined and the onyx set is bold. Its silver band is thick and durable, as is the rest of the ring. Because of its thickness, the size 7 is really a size 6.5. (I am not a jewelry expert but I believe that the silver band can only be sized by a silversmith. Should you consider sizing, please call a jeweler for advice before bidding.)

It's clearly marked by the Coleman, SD Company indicating authenticity and gold content. See the fifth image.

This is NOT costume jewelry, but the real thing...real gold; real silver. Its gray, velveteen gift box, with its Coleman logo, is included.

This is a used ring without obvious flaws. The only thing I noticed was slight scratches in the interior portion of the band. Overall, this ring is in excellent condition.
