The listing, Vintage Musical Powder Box! has ended.

This is a really neat vintage musical powder box I found while cleaning out a house. It DID actually play music when I first wound it up and opened it but I just opened it when I got home and it did not work for some reason. I don't really want to tinker with it and damage anything. There are screws so I'm assuming the bottom opens to where the music box is but I don't know for sure. There is also a small dent in lid as shown in pictures and this orange stuff on the sides and bottom. I'm not sure if it's glue or what it is but again I am not going to attempt to clean it so it is as is. It has a jewel in the top and stands on 3 legs. Very pretty detail and a lovely piece. It is about 3.5" wide, 2" tall and stands on 1/2" legs. I'm sorry I will not lower starting bid, days and no GIN. Listia verified addresses only. Thank you so much and happy bidding!

Do you mean Listia? You simply list things to get credits. You can list stuff you don't want or need anymore and either set it to run as an auction in which your item goes to the highest bidder at the end of it or you can set a fixed price known as a "GIN" or "Get It Now". It's very similar to E bay except the currency is credits instead of money. Listing something is very easy a quick too. Just take a few clear pictures of your item and write a description of your item then you set how many days you want the auction to run and add a GIN if you want. There is also the option of buying credits which Listia has GREATLY inflated credits so you can get a lot of credits for cheap. Now it's almost more worth it to just buy credits than list anything because of this but occasionally listing something does pay off better than buying. There use to be a little video on the Listia website when you first join explaining how it works so check on the actual desktop site and it should be there. Hope this helps!:)

I know I was surprised to hear music when I opened it. Have never seen that before and thought it was neat. One of the mechanisms must have came loose on the car ride over because when I opened it at home it did not work even when wound. I'm sure it's an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing but I'm just too nervous to try and fix it myself.
