The listing, Antiqued Avon Cluster Ring 10k Yellow Gold has ended.

This is a very pretty ring that looks purposively antiqued, either that or its dirty :-(. Anyway I got this on Listia about 5 years ago. It is a 5 or a 5.5 size. It is stamped 10k the lister believed the diamonds were 1/4 carat T.W.

I have this same ring. This one just needs a good cleaning. The pictures honestly dont do it justice. It's a beautiful ring in person when clean it has alot of sparkle. I love mine and always get compliments on it. Whoever gets this ring will be very happy I'm sure! Have great day all!

Aha! SO it is not antique after all, just dirty. I do have an ultrasonic bath. WIth that help or is that not the thing to use with gold and diamond rings?

I clean mine in warm water a pinch of lemon juice and a drop of ivory dish soap.

If it's still real dirty a paste of Baking soda and warm water. They will really sparkle when your done!

Thanks, I did and the diamonds sparkle but it still has the antique look. I think that's intended after all...I also did the ultrasonic bath and antique looking patina is still there. See the new photos which I will post in a minute.

One side of the ring says "10K". The other side of the ring (about a third of the band's distance away, reads "RJ" and a few spaces, then "5".

Hmm. I don't think it's dirty. I think it is supposed to look that way. All the cleaning I did didn't change the "look" of the ring.

I just found some Etsy references to vintage Avon rings from the late 1970's. The RJ stands for RJ Graziano. Apparently the rings are all silver on Etsy, so this gold one may be a rare item designed for Avon during this period by Mr. Graziano.

Yes I guarantee it. If you take it to a jeweler and it is not you can keep the ring and I'll refund the credits. But it is clearly marked 10K and the hallmark is on the opposite third of this ring.
