FREE: 5 inch Cotton Fabric Squares - Over 100 Different pieces

I found some pieces of flour sack material that I will add to the lot.

I'm sorry! You should see me when I receive the Keepsake Quilting magazine in the mail. I just drool over the beautiful material. Have to keep reminding myself there is tons of fabric in my mother's craft room begging to be used.

I might even be able to add some vintage flour sack material that is in excellent condition?

No problem! My mom always told me to say that as well but I forget sometimes.

I also have burlap, satin, flannel, etc. but I rather not cut this material into squares.

I think I'll do an auction at a later day with larger squares. I need to go through all the fabric so I can choose ones that will go together.

A new sewing machine is good no matter what brand. My Viking used to be my Grandmothers (Still miss her dearly). It is over 30 years old and has just a few fancy detailed stitches. I have not it because I don't have an area big enough to place the cabinet it came with.

My grandmother was a wonderful sewer. My mom has made some of the most beautiful paper pieced runners, crazy quilt Christmas stockings and vintage lace purses.

I have some Singer sewing machine needles but none of our machines can use them.

I tried to learn to tatt when I was younger but hated it. I prefer making my own tiny trim crocheted.

There are only a few squares of holiday. So I'll leave them in, but I still am going to add more squares.

What kind of sewing machine did you buy? Mom & I both have Viking sewing machines. Mom also bought a Janome felting machine - she hasn't used it. Guess I'll have to learn how to use it, then show her how.
Total of 5 sewing machines in the house and mom is talking about getting another one that is capable of sewing through thicker material.

Mom tends to collect things (buttons, baskets, sewing notions, vintage linens, dolls and so on).

I have some vintage bar cloth too?

See what I can do. My mom has some stored away.....just don't know where.

So glad to see you again! Nice makeup auctions. I wear very little makeup. I'm sure not going to get all made up for the critters and bugs on the farm.

That shutter tool is super crazy to use. When I want some tiny details for any of my projects, I usually make it out of 20 or 30 crochet thread.

I have lots of ruffed lace, vintage tassel fringe trim and a small amount of tatted trim. I have one more container to go through to round up some more trim.

Yes I do. There are already some squares and hearts with tiny chickens, pigs, dogs, cats. Will find more : )

They are sweet! I have admit I debated back and forth about adding them to the auction. Then I thought, I can always make my own and I like to share some of my nicer craft items on Listia.
